Cheetah Safaris welcomes hunters at all levels be it first timers, family hunts or discerning trophy hunters. We specialize in Bow, Rifle, Handgun and Black power hunting enthusiasts. Our reliable 4x4 Landcruisers are fully equipped with hunting frames, winch, 2-way radios, comfortable built-in chairs, first-aid kits and coolers with all your beverage requirements.
Shots can range anything from 20 to 300 yards, with our wide variety of thick brush and open savannah. African animals can be amazingly tough therefore we recommend .300 caliber for plains game and .375 and bigger for dangerous game. All high quality ammunition like Trophy Bonded, Barnes X or premium soft bonded bullets comes highly recommended for plains game as well as dangerous game hunting. Telescopes with a low to high magnification 1.5 - 6 * 40 will be adequate. Shot placement is the key to success. You will be issued with the Cheetah Safari shot placement book, which will show you the vital areas of our animals.
With exclusive allocated 'bow hunting only areas', we offer some of the best bow hunting in the world. We specialize in dangerous and plains game bow hunts and will put you under 20 yards of your trophy. Your bow hunting guides (avid bow hunters themselves) are all very experienced.Successes are just as important to us and therefore we primarily hunt from ground blinds. Our blinds are scent proof to ensure maximum success. These blinds are spacious with comfortable seats and accommodates up to 4 people at a time. Blinds are strategically placed at saltlicks and waterholes. Pop up blinds, tree stands, tripods and traditional grass blind are also used successfully.

Cheetah Safaris offers rhino vita dart in selected areas. Kindly note that the application for the permit is a lengthily process. Book your rhino vita dart well in advance to give us ample time for permit application. The rhino property ensures that it is a fair chase, which can be quite a challenging. During your Rhino hunt there will be a licensed veterinarian and a helicopter on standby at all times to ensure the animal's health. Unlike with a rifle, you have to get within 30 yards with the 'dart gun' or bow, ensuring a very exciting hunt. Your Rhino trophy gets measured and can be sent to the taxidermy of your choice for the construction of your fiberglass replica. Cheetah Safaris was one of the first outfits to perfect the bow green hunt.
